Sunseeker Banus Sporting events

This summer staff at Sunseeker Banus took partin two sporting events achieving maximum success both times

Karting in June

Alan Gulliver and Francis Holbourne were invited along to a Karting event in Campillos (about an hours drive inland from Marbella) for local business men. It was well organized with a briefing session followed by a 10 minute test drive which also doubled up as a qualifying session for pole position for the main event. Alan was the fastest in the field and Francis was last (not due to driving skills but more to do with the fact he was approx 40 kg heavier than the rest of the competitors !)

The race was great fun which lasted 20 long minutes with first place going to our own Alan “Lewis Hamilton” Gulliver. Well done. Francis made up two places…

Padel Pro Tour Company Tournament

At the beginning of Augustthe Nueva Alcanatara Tennis and Padel Club held their annual professional padel tournament PPT which brings the worlds best padel pros to town.

In conjunction with the main event a tournament open to invited business’s is held and this year Sunseeker Banus representedby Marina Estrella Marbella’s own Francis Holbourne along with padel partner Sergio Maruenda were victors in the 3 set final against local real-estate company Bravo Homes.
